Lundes // Flaksjøen loop

A quite easy hike circling around Flaksjøen, the biggest lake on the Venabygd plateau. Park at the Kiwi supermarket (Lundes) and follow Flaksjølivegen, a gravel road, in northern direction. After about 3km the road starts bending around the lake in western direction and is marked with red T-s. When the road comes to an end, continue on the path still following the northern shore of the lake. Cross a river and almost immediately left to follow another path behind a cabin. You go up and down before ascending Oddvolhaugen, the only slightly steeper climb of this hike. Continue south until you reach Svartfjellsætra. From here you follow the gravel road Svartfjellvegen until you get back on Flaksjølivegen. Turn right to get back to the car park.

Quite easy and almost flat hike except for the short climb on Oddvolhaugen. You mainly walk on gravel roads and easy visible paths without particular challenges. We recommend a bit more exciting hike with children.
