An off-the-beaten track and challenging hike starting at the parking place near Muvatnet on the Venabygd plateau. Follow the gravel road to Ramshytta where they gather the free roaming sheep in autumn. Turn right and circumnavigate along the edges of Store Ramshøgda. Walk into Svåbudalen where you find shelter at Svåbu cabin. Then turn left before crossing the saddle between Ramstindan and Nørdre Bølhøgda. Follow the edges of Ramstindan to get back to Ramshytta and the gravel road back to the starting point.

Good fitness, sure-footedness and navigation skills required. Please notice most of the track is not signposted. Be prepared for stony/slippery tracks, wetlands and some smaller river crossings.
