A spectacular summit hike starting at the parking place near Muvatnet on the Venabygd plateau. Follow the gravel road to Ramshytta where they gather the free roaming sheep in autumn. Go straight behind the cabin and start climbing up the quite steep mountain side until you reach the saddle in between Ramstindan and Store Ramshøgda. Continue straight until there is a smaller path bending to the right. You have to end up on top of the rocky ridge you see to your right. Follow the path into the bowl and cross a small river about half way. Then another steep climb is waiting up onto the second mountain face. Turn left to reach the summit which looks like a large rocky plateau. From the stone tower you have a magnificent 360 degrees view. Descend the same way as you came.

Good fitness, sure-footedness and navigation skills required. Please notice most of the track is not signposted. Be prepared for stony/slippery tracks and some smaller river crossings. Perform this hike only with good visibility and when there is forecasted not too much wind. There is no shelter on the mountain.
