On a beautiful mountain plateau, 15 minutes driving (0r 2 hours on foot) from Rondane River Lodge, you can stay in our unique seter cabin Klokkerstua which can host up to 8 persons. It’s part of a traditional summer farm where goats get access to fresh mountain grass, giving their milk an exceptional taste. Klokkerstua consists of 2 recently renovated cabins and a shared building with wilderness toilet, simple shower, extra bedroom and sauna. This is a place to get back to basics and indulge yourself completely in traditional Norwegian mountain life. There is direct access to hiking trails.

The seter cabin does not have running water inside but has its own spring and tap with drinking water outside. You can boil it to make hot water for use in the kitchen and shower. Just like in the old days.
