A nice and moderate hike with great views over the entire Venabygd plateau. Park at the southern edge of the Muvatnet lake and walk along its southwestern shore. Optionally you can make a short detour to a small peninsula in the lake. Continue mostly flat in western direction until you reach another lake, Flåtjønnet. Follow the track which bends slowly to the left and crosses some river beds, until you end up in between Midtre and Søre Bølhøgda. Turn left and start ascending the latter on its western side. Enjoy the view from the top and descend again on the eastern side of the mountain. This quite steep and rocky section leads back to the car park.

Normal fitness, sure-footedness and navigation skills required. Please notice most of the track is not signposted. Be prepared for stony/slippery tracks, wetlands and a lot of smaller river crossings.
