Transfer on your own or organized to the husky kennel in Randsverk (about 1h30) where the dogs welcome you. The basic technique is taught by an experienced musher and the safety instructions are reviewed. Then you can harness the dogs yourself before the tour begins. Expect about 2h00 dogsledding to a lake on the edge of the Jotunheimen National Park. Return to the kennel for a hot drink and refreshment.

The long trip takes you above the tree line in the high mountains and includes a hot lunch. Expect about 4 to 5 hours of sledding

Guided 2 days dogsled expedition in Jotunheimen with overnight in tent:
Transfer on your own or organized to the husky kennel in Randsverk (about 1h30) where the dogs welcome you. The basic technique is taught by an experienced musher and the safety instructions are reviewed. Then you can harness the dogs yourself before the expedition begins. The first part goes through the forest before the dogs start climbing above tree level (they might need some help). After lunch we start looking for a nice spot to put up the camp. Everyone helps actively with feeding the dogs, preparing meals and put up the camp. After spending the night outdoors, the dogteams are prepared again to return to the kennel. Another wilderness lunch will be prepared on the way back. Definitely an experience never to forget!
