    Rondane and Dovrefjell National Parks are of course the main attractions offering endless possibilities for nature lovers and outdoor enthousiasts.     RONDANE NATIONAL PARK

    The oldest national park of Norway hosts 10 mountain tops above 2000m and was created to protect the precious living area for the wild reindeer flocks.

    DOVREFJELL NATIONAL PARK

    Dovrefjell National Park includes the second highest mountain range in Norway and is the natural habitat for the iconic musk ox.

    RONDANEVEGEN

    Rondanevegen is one of the 18 national scenic routes in Norway. It runs from Muen and Sollia Church to Folldal along the east side of Rondane National Park.

    VENABYGDSFJELLET

    Venabygdsfjellet is the southern access for hikes in the Rondane National Park and offers over 160km of perfectly groomed cross country ski slopes during winter.

    FRIISVEGEN

    Friisvegen - Rondane River Lodge

    Friisvegen is a spectacular mountain road linking Gudbrandsdalen and Østerdalen. It winds above tree level and offers good chances to spot wild reindeer.

    GRIMSDALSVEGEN

    Grimsdalsvegen is another famous mountain road in between Rondane and Dovrefjell National Park. Prepare yourself for 50km of breathtaking scenery.

    The well preserved mining town of Røros is a UNESCO world heritage site. It’s only a stone’s throw away from Femunden, the third biggest lake in Norway.
