We start around sunset and drive with an old army jeep to the best spots in the surroundings of Rondane River Lodge where moose is regularly present. Unfortunately we can’t guarantee any sightings but it will be a memorable experience anyway. Did you know Rondane River Lodge is situated in one of the most densely populated areas of wild moose and spring time offers the best chances for success?
Guided 3-4 hours moose safari:
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 18/05 until 17/08 at 9 PM. Other days on request.
1500 NOK per party + 250 NOK per adult and 150 NOK per child 3-11 years
There are not involved long hikes in this excursion and we mainly drive around. This excursion is suitable for children as from 3 years old. A warm drink and light snack is also included. Bring warm/water repellent clothing and comfortable shoes with you.
