Rondane River Lodge is an ideal starting point for cross country skiing. Take your chances and discover numerous trails in all directions.
First of all you can start skiing right from the lodge and follow the challenging trail over Mount Pika. Several other, also more easy, options can be found after a short drive including the famous network of Venabygdsfjellet with over 160km perfectly groomed and snow secure trails!
Rental of cross country material:
365 NOK for 1 day – 575 NOK for 2 days – 685 NOK for 3 days – 910 NOK for a whole week
Including waxed skis, poles and shoes.
A pulk or children’s pulk can be rented for 250 NOK per day.
Private 1.5 hour cross country ski lesson:
1100 NOK for 1-2 persons for 1.5 hour + 250 NOK per extra person
Including a short introduction to material, waxing and skiing with an experienced guide. Material can be rented seperately.
Transfer to the starting point in Venabu can be added for 500 NOK one way.
Private 2 hours cross country ski lesson:
1400 NOK for 1-2 persons for 1.5 hour + 300 NOK per extra person
