Rather skiing outside the groomed trails? On backcountry ski’s you manage to get almost everywhere and the technique is surprisingly easy!

Or what about randonnee/tour skiing in Rondane National Park. It’s rounded mountain tops are quite easy to skin up and simply made for skiing down. The terrain is ideal for less experienced skiers too and the scenary just breathtaking!

Rental of backcountry material:

300 NOK for 1 day + 100 NOK for climbing skins

500 NOK for 2 days + 150 NOK for climbing skins

600 NOK for 3 days + 200 NOK for climbing skins

1000 NOK for a whole week + 400 NOK for climbing skins

Including skis, poles, shoes and climbing skins (half or full length).

A pulk or children’s pulk can be rented for 250 NOK per day or 750 NOK per week.

2 hours backcountry ski lesson:

1500 NOK for 1st person + 200 NOK per extra person

Including a short introduction to material, waxing/skins and skiing with an experienced guide. Material can be rented seperately.

4 hours backcountry adventure (recommended and most popular):

2500 NOK for 1st person + 500 NOK per extra person – suitable for all levels

Including short introduction to material, waxing/skins, skiing with an experienced guide and wilderness lunch. Material can be rented seperately.

6 hours backcountry mountain day:

3250 NOK for 1st person + 800 NOK per extra person – previous experience recommended

Including short introduction to material, waxing/skins, skiing with an experienced guide and wilderness lunch. Material can be rented seperately.

4 hours backcountry skiing with avalanche course:

2500 NOK for 1st person + 500 NOK per extra person – suitable for all levels

Including the use of avalanche equipment (tranceiver, shovel and probe), wilderness lunch and an experienced guide. Material can be rented seperately.

3 hours evening backcountry skiing with headlight:

2100 NOK for 1st person + 400 NOK per extra person – suitable for all levels

Including short minutes introduction to material, waxing/skins, headlight, skiing with an experienced guide and light snack. Material can be rented seperately.

2 days guided backcountry expedition with overnight in a mountain cabin:

7500 NOK for 1st person + 2500 NOK per extra person

Including skiing equipment, experienced guide, overnight in mountain cabin and simple meals.

Multiday backcountry or tour skiing:
