As soon as the temperature drops below zero and snow arrives, normally in the course of November, Rondane River Lodge is situated in the heart of an extensive winter wonderland. Thanks to it’s location, 780m above sea level and just underneath the tree level, snow and ice are expected to last until Easter.
Excellent conditions are waiting for winter sports enthousiasts. Rondane River Lodge offers a wide range of organized and self-guided activities. Also multiday trips with overnight in DNT mountain cabins can be arranged. The choice is all yours!
Rondane River Lodge can arrange all the activities underneath and we recommend to book in advance.
We also rent thermal dresses for 125 NOK per day or 500 NOK per week. Thermal winter boots can be rented for 100 NOK per day or 400 NOK per week.
